Madonna's mystery 'black eye' prompts renewed speculation of plastic surgery
Last updated at 11:58am on 22.01.08Superstar Madonna's penchant for wearing sunglasses at night may at first seem impractical - but on closer inspection it appears they have a more prqactical use.
The singer appeared to be hiding a big fat bruise on her left eye, which appeared to run right down her cheek underneath her darkened sunglasses as she left Claridges Hotel in London last night at 1.15am.

Intriguingly, it's not the first time that the singer - who has never admitted to having plastic surgery - has been seen with the questionable bruising.
Just last month the singer was seen with similar bruises on her eyes prompting renewed speculation that she has had a facelift.
And one plastic surgeon said the marks looked like the kind of bruising that can be caused by an operation on the eyes or nose.
It's not the first time she's been seen with mystery bruising around her eyes, last December it was even more pronounced appearing on both eyes
