Guy 'flithy rich' Richie is so desperate to stay close to his kids, he's reportedly giving up his London residency and moving to New York City.
Ritchie plans on moving to the Big Apple this summer, which is where ex wifey Madonna is currently living with the couple's kids.
Madonna is going to take daughter Lourdes on tour with her this summer, but Guy is going to stay in NYC and take care of
their two sons - Rocco, eight, and adopted three-year-old David, who
have recently enrolled in American schools.
A friend close to Ritchie says, "Guy will have Rocco and David for most
of the summer. He's currently looking for an apartment in the Upper
West Side of Manhattan."
Ritchie has proven time and again that he's a devoted father,
so the big move doesn't surprise us at all. It's great that both Guy
and Madonna have been adults about the breakup and avoided a nasty
divorce--for the sake of their kids.
Now Madonna just needs to stop dating men that are just a few years older than her daughter.
