Madonna’s Jesus Luz, secret Kabbalah heritage

While friends are calling Madonna's relationship with toy boy model, Jesus Luz, a publicity stunt and a sham another curious fact is emerging regarding the Brazilian heartbreaker.
As is being reported, Madonna has been dragging Jesus to her Kabbalah classes and this faith, based on Judaism, is making a real impression on the Brazilian despite his staunch Catholic upbringing. Sources close to Luz in Brazil say that he has often wondered if he might have Jewish ancestry stemming from Spain and there has been talk in his family about certain traditions that have been carried down to suggest this.
Apparently he told Madonna about this and she immediately introduced him to the Kabbalah.
It is said the population of South America and Brazil in particular has a high degree of Jewish ancestry. This dates back to the medieval Spanish inquisition where hundreds of thousands of Spanish Jews were forced to convert to Catholicism or be burnt at the stake. Many Jews opted for the church rather than a gruesome death but secretly practiced Judaism. These secret Jews were known as 'Conversos' or 'Maranos' (a more derogatory term) .
It is said that enormous numbers of them took the chance to immigrate to South America where they felt they were further from the church, who still spied on them to see if they were keeping Jewish traditions. Jewish historians have often claimed with much evidence that indeed Christopher Columbus was of Jewish ancestry and his desire to discover a new continent even motivated by a need to find his brethren a safe haven.
Conversos in Latin America hid their Jewish roots by giving their children the most seemingly Christian first names and taking on very Catholic family names. The first name Jesus is well documented as having been extremely popular with converses, some even suggest they started the trend in the Spanish world regarding this particular name
'The name Luz, meaning light in Spanish, is as Converso as it gets, it refers to 'The light of the Virgin Mary' or 'The light of the Gospel', if these names are a long standing tradition in his family there is a very probably chance he is of Converso stock' notes one academic and expert in Jewish history.

'Of course concepts involving light are very Jewish and even more Kabbalistic , the name 'Luz' might have been a subliminal reference to some of Kabbalah's most central concepts: 'The Eternal light' or 'Or ein sof' in Hebrew' or the 'Surrounding light' referred to in Hebrew as the 'Or makif', both ideas underpinning the whole belief system' noted the academic.

'Jesus comes from the Hebrew name 'Yeshua' meaning 'Saviour' so put together his name might mean 'Light of salvation', concludes our expert.
The Kabbalah itself was mainly written in Spain prior to this tragic inquisition. The Zohar, its most well known book, was written by the very Spanish Rabbi Moses De Leon further cementing Jesus Luz historical connection to this faith.

Will Jesus Luz prove to be Madonna's 'Light of Salvation'? Many of her friends are not so sure.
