Big name artists are being called upon to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson with a tribute album. Some big names in pop are reportedly on board, like Robbie Williams, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Beyonce, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and Britain's Got Talent winner Shaheen Jafargholi.
The stars will reportedly cover popular Michael songs, and will be put on an album for fans as another remembrance of the King of Pop.
A source tells MSN "The idea came from the memorial concert. Many fans asked if cover versions from it would be released, and it seemed a wonderful idea. This covers album is sure to be a massive worldwide hit with fans and could raise a fortune for Michael's favorite charities."
According to the report, Mariah will reprise her version of "I'll Be There" from the memorial, while Shaheen will sing his version of "Who's Loving You."
Other tracks expected to be on the album include "Rock With You," "She's Out Of My Life," and "Bad."
Michael songs are such classics, and having them sung by some of the greatest artists in pop just shows how much he's missed in the music industry and around the world.
