Journals reportedly written by MADONNA have been removed from an online auction - after the singer's representatives contacted eBay.com asking for bosses to ban the sale.
An unknown man placed 12 personal tomes allegedly written by the Material Girl between 1988 and 1992 on the website, and was hoping to garner millions of dollars for the possessions.
The eBay user alleges he bought the journals in a blindauction from a storage facility in Chatsworth, California, along with personal items including photos of the superstar, for just $150 ($100).
But the periodicals have now been taken down from eBay after Madonna's representatives convinced executives "they" were the rightful owners, reports TMZ.com.
A spokesperson for the auction website has confirmed they did cancel the listing after the singer's reps contacted them to make a claim.
But the unnamed seller is still reportedly insisting the items belong to him.
