Madonna history

Madonna's original handwritten acceptance speech, as well as two
typewritten versions of the final draft, from when she was the
featured honoree at AmFAR's (American Foundation for AIDS Research)
Glitter & Be Giving Benefit at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on December
10th, 1991. This black-tie, star-studded extravaganza was organized to
honor this true pioneer and trailblazer who wholeheartedly supported
AIDS education and research long before it was the fashionable thing
to do in Hollywood. We all know Madonna was and remains a tireless
advocate who has raised and donated many hundreds of thousands of
dollars for such a worthy cause.
