Madonna eyes Windsor jewels?
Madonna has reportedly taken a fancy to some of the Windsor jewels she had replicated for her royal film WE.
The 52-year-old star, who has been directing a film centred around Edward VIII's abdication from the British throne, was apparently spotted in Sotheby's trying on several pieces of the Cartier jewels Edward gave American divorcee Wallis Simpson, The Daily Mail reports.
Madonna is said to have replicas of the jewels - which are due to be sold by current Syrian billionaire owner Wafic Said - made for her movie, but has now apparently fallen for the real thing.
The singer reportedly has her heart set on an onyx and diamond panther bracelet estimated to fetch up to £2 million when it is auctioned later this month.
WE charts the life of Edward VIII's wife Wallis Simpson, who will be played by Andrea Riseborough, and will mark Madonna's feature-length directorial debut. James D'Arcy will play Edward.

Sunglasses supplier Luxottica has introduced five new models to Dolce & Gabbana's Madonna MDG range of eyewear. The products feature exclusive materials, unusual colour combinations and detailing as distinctive features as well as the MDG monogram, according to the company.
The range, which will be available in duty-free and travel-retail, features large seventies-style frames with criss-cross patterns on the bridge, aviator styles in lightweight metal and acetate models inspired by the eighties (pictured) in colours ranging from black and brown to purple and red.

Madonna’s gym plan a way of getting back at former fitness trainer?
New York, Nov 15: Queen of Pop Madonna has recently announced that she plans to open a series of Hard Candy Fitness Centres worldwide.
And sources say the plan may have evolved after she had a falling out with her former trainer, Tracy Anderson, over the latter capitalizing on the singer's name to build her fitness empire in New York and LA.
But a different source close to Madonna has denied that the plan had anything to do with Anderson.
"I don't think she even gives Tracy a second thought. It's a natural idea for her to have her own gym," the New York Post quoted the source as saying.
"This is a business plan that she has been working on for some time with her business partner Guy Oseary," the source added.
Her first gym opens in Mexico City this month, with plans for Russia, Europe and eventually the US, and a source has revealed that she'll be closely involved in developing dance-based workouts.

Bernhard 'misses Madonna friendship'
The comedienne, whose close bond with theHard Candy singer prompted speculation about their relationship in the late 1980s, toldThe Wendy Williams Show that it is a shame that the pair no longer speak.
Berhard said: "I'm cool with [Madonna], but we're not friends anymore, and it's a bit of a bummer.
"In the day, we were super, super, super [best friends]. She came to my show in 1988, came backstage and then we started hanging out."
Commenting on the public interest in their friendship, Bernhard said: "I guess to a certain degree every time two performers connect there's a little bit of publicity.
"[But] we would go out and have a genuinely, genuinely great time, and I think we were a really good example of two women being friends. And that's the saddest part of our friendship dissolving."
She added: "Some people can't handle those types of friendships... It's okay. All is forgiven."
